Each locker has its own compute unit, Wi-Fi and power providing an unprecedented level of reliability and simultaneous usage. At peak-hours multiple people can interact with the lockers at the same time avoiding bottlenecks. Also, in the unlikely scenario that one unit becomes unavailable, the rest of them will continue function without any interruptions.
